    Aegon sterkste daler.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) Op Wall Street zijn vrijdag vijf van de acht AEX-genoteerde fondsen ten opzichte van het slot in Amsterdam hoger gesloten. ArcelorMittal en Unilever waren met winsten van 0,9 procent de sterkste stijgers. Aegon was met een verlies van 0,6 procent de sterkste daler.

    Staal doet het goed
    Ook de staalreuzen ArcelorMittal en Aperam kwamen met cijfers. En ook zij werden hier rijkelijk voor beloond: ArcelorMittal met een weekwinst van 6,4% en Aperam zelfs met een double digit koersstijging.

    De cijfers van ArcelorMittal waren volgens analist Teun Verhagen beter dan verwacht, maar de staalreus heeft last van een enorme toevloed van goedkoop staal uit China. CEO Aditya Mittal noemde in het persbericht de situatie onhoudbaar en riep de EU op tot hardere maatregelen.

    Aperam, een spin-off van Arcelor, wist op bijna alle fronten de marktverwachtingen te verslaan en liet de concurrentie de hielen zien. Hier kunt u de visie van Verhagen lezen.

    Goldman Sachs verlaagt het koersdoel van ArcelorMittal naar € 23,50 van € 24,10. Het houdadvies van maandag 5 augustus 2024 wordt herhaald. Dit vorige advies heeft geresulteerd in een rendement van 10,28%.
