Tamco, uit mijn e-mail wisselingen met Rick. De vraag hierbij mag duidelijk zijn :-)

I AM THE LARGEST SHAREHOLDER WITH ABOUT 10%. YOU MAY NOTE THAT THE SALARIES ARE VERY MODEST, AS OUR PHILOSOPHY IS TO SPEND THE MONEY ON EXPLORATION AND DEVELOPMENT WITH THE FUTURE PAY-OFF HOPEFULLY COMING FROM THE SHARE APPRECIATION. YOU MAY NOTE THAT THE COMPANY HAS NOT DONE A FINANCING OR DILUTED THE SHAREHOLDINGS FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS.

    Huub,

Sorry for the delay, I have been travelling. As for CMC Metals, while we are waiting for permitting we are gearing up to mine a 2500 bulk sample at silver hart as soon as the weather allows.
This will bring in significantly more cash flow that the one of 132,000 tons we did last year. The new bulk tonnage size is expected to yield about
    200,000 oz silver.

In the meantime the company is working on bringing the bishop mill into production by summer

    Thank you for your interest

    Gord Zelko

    Bishop Mill Permitting Update
    Bishop Mill Permitting Update
    Mar. 9, 2011 (TheNewswire.ca) --

Vancouver, B.C.: CMC Metals Ltd. (TSXV:CMB) (OOTC:CMCXF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce it has received confirmation from the Lahontan Water Board that the application submitted for installation of a Class A tailings pond design at the Bishop Mill facilities has been deemed complete. This will allow the Water Board to conduct the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) assessment and complete the approval review prior to forwarding recommendations for approval to the Lahontan Water Board. Based on feedback from the Lahontan Water Board assessor, the application should be ready for approval early June. There have been several delays due to information requests on hydrological characterization, installation of two additional monitoring wells and base water quality analysis. Once the approval has been completed, the Amended Plan of Operation submitted to the Bureau of Land Management can be reviewed for acceptance. During meetings with the BLM, it was stated that the Amended Plan of Operation should be ready for acceptance within a month after the Water Boards approval. Construction of the Class A pond will start immediately once the Plan of Operation has been accepted. Construction, mill upgrades and commissioning will occur during the months of July and August. We anticipate that the Bishop Mill facilities will have all approvals and be operating at full capacity within 6 months. The Bishop Mill is designed to process a wide range of ore sources and will have a capacity rating to process 100 tons per day. The Company is evaluating a number of offers that would dictate the start-up ore to be processed and will be reported soon. Current proposals being evaluated are more than double the mill rated capacity.

    Update WRI, rick
    Hi Hans;

We had a positive meeting with AREVA during the PDAC and all is moving in the right direction.

There is no immediate update, as things take time to get through their organization, but in due course we will address the plans.

Also met with some other Canadian companies working in Indonesia and I think there are some things to be done together. The PDAC was a very good show and I think it we have gained some sponsorship down the road.

    Best regards

reactie op bulk sample van vannacht, "
expect a news release soon :-)"

The new bulk sample will begin as soon as the winter break up and
will consist of 2500 tonnes which should be 200,000 - 220,000 ounces
of silver. That will give the company a healthy chunk of cash flow
and we are cashed up right now at about $1.5 mil with a number of
    warrants being exercised.

We have the cash on hand for extraction and delivery of the bulk
sample, a drill exploration program at silver hart and necessary
proceeds used to bring the bishop mill into production - that you can
expect a news release on soon.

An active investor relations program will commence but needs to be in
parallel to activity at silver hart and bishop. Otherwise I believe
the cost will not be worth the results. So the answer to your
question is yes but we are still a little too soon.

Finally, the bishop mill in California has very good cash flow
potential staring this year and there are a number of permitted mines
that we are discussing with to become JV partners and to process ore.

Govt to Issue Long Overdue Forests Decree
    Camelia Pasandaran & Fidelis E. Satriastanti | March 25, 2011

Amuch delayed presidential decree to enforce a moratorium on new forest concessions will be issued next month, an official said on Thursday.

The two-year moratorium on granting concessions in peatland and primary forests is part of a bilateral agreement with Norway, in exchange for which Indonesia will receive $1 billion in funding for Reducing Emissions From Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD-plus) activities.

In order for the moratorium to be legally binding from its Jan. 1 start date, it must be backed by a presidential decree, which will be issued in April, according to Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.

“It is still being processed, hopefully early next month,” he said on Thursday.

Environment Minister Gusti Muhammad Hatta confirmed he expected the decree to be signed next week.

“It’s now being finalized,” he said. “The president said the decree would be issued soon. Once it’s been signed, we can implement the moratorium and there will be no more permits issued for clearing primary forest.”

He added that despite the lack of a decree, the moratorium had been in effect all year.

“We’ve banned clearing of peatland and primary forests since the start of the year,” Gusti said. “We’ve already stopped issuing permits. The decree is only to provide legal certainty.”

Deforestation is one of the primary sources greenhouse gas emissions, which cause global warming. Indonesia, the world’s third-largest emitter, has one of the fastest rates of forest clearing.

Though much delayed, environmental activists have welcomed the promised signing of the decree.

Teguh Surya, head of climate justice at the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (Walhi), said it was important for the contents of the presidential instruction to be made public.

“It’s not just a matter of when the decree will be signed, but also what it says,” he said.

“The government should have and is supposed to make the contents publicly available first because of the implications for the people and other stakeholders.”

The latest draft of the decree, obtained by the Jakarta Globe, states that the moratorium applies to forests and peatlands and calls for improving the management of these areas.

It defines the affected areas as being located in conservation forests, protected forests, production forest and other types of forests.

The decree states the moratorium will not apply for permits for strategic national development, including geothermal and oil and gas exploration, power plants and large-scale rice and sugar plantations.

Oil palm plantations are expected to be hit hardest by the moratorium.

On Thursday, industry executives met with President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to discus the impact of the moratorium on their businesses.

“As businesspeople, we support the signing of the [agreement with Norway],” Joefly J. Bachroeny, chairman of the Indonesian Palm Oil Producers Association (Gapki), said after the meeting. “But we’re concerned that the moratorium may be misunderstood by some parties,” he added.

Joefly said the moratorium would hamper the development of oil palm plantations. Indonesia is the world’s biggest producer of crude palm oil, and is set to expand production this year.

Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hasan said the expansion was possible. “They have seven million hectares of abandoned land to use,” he said.

    betreffende CMB cmc metals

    Hans,

My opinion with the CMB market is that the company has for the past 3
years attempted to bring silver hart into production and because of
the length of time it is taking investors loose interest. That is why
we are moving to a large bulk sample program almost 20 times the
tonnage of the last one - and this new 2500 ton sample is expected to
yield over 200,000 tons of silver. Extraction will start in late may
    or early june.

We were also expecting the Bishop mill to be operational sooner but
appears now things are progressing well. There will be a press
release next week relating to the bishop mill next week.

I am equally frustrated as a shareholder but i believe as we approach
    production the market will improve

    Gord

Tamco, Reactie Rick, vraag go of no go?!

You now basically have the same information that we do.

We have never dealt with a moratorium in Indonesia before.

We remain confident that it will be a “go” as you put it.

    www.redd-monitor.org/2011/03/28/redd-...

"Things are progressing and we certainly do not count uranium out. While the publicity has been damaging, this was a second generation unit, over 35 years old and the down-side risk, from what I am reading, is minimal. A set-back, as few will want a reactor in their back-yards, but there have been a number of improvement over the past years that make the units safer. One shouldn’t build them on fault lines… India, China, and others will proceed as there are few alternatives…

The focus is indeed Indonesia. We are making arrangements to set up the office while we await confirmation of title. WE did get out latest assays back a few days ago and again, they were very impressive, high grade. Arrangements are being made for geologist site visits. We are also continuing discussions with various government officials and other Canadian mining industry players who are not operating in Central Kalimantan. In fact, things are quite busy and progressing well. The only draw-back and it is a major one, is that we still don’t have a final resolution to the title issue. WE get lots of assurances that it will be resolved soon, but are still awaiting confirmation.
    Frustrating for all of us.
Hope this is at least informative,

Hun uranium met AREVA ligt vooralsnog even op z'n gat

  12. Tamco 29 maart 2011 09:43
