    We kochten de eerste pluk aandelen op 31 cent en zijn inmiddels afgegleden naar 21 cent. Is er wat aan de hand bij InfoGrames (IFG) of moeten we in paniek raken? Niets van dat alles, de situatie bij het bedrijf is ongewijzigd, de balans merendeels gesaneerd na de recente claimemissie tegen 18 cent (waarop mensen gemiddeld 0,31 euro betaald hebben voor hun nieuwe stukken) en de conversie van een obligatielening.

    De recente koersdruk lijkt enerzijds een bewust koersdrukkend spel en anderzijds te komen uit partijen die afscheid nemen. Bijvoorbeeld omdat ze de aandelen niet blieven nadat conversie van de lening heeft plaatsgevonden en kost wat kost willen uitstappen. Bijvoorbeeld omdat het aandeel IFG recent uit een belangrijke index is verwijderd en indexspelers dientengevolge noodgedwongen moesten verkopen.

    Wij denken door dit alles eerder een koopkans te zien. Waarbij we onmiddellijk benadrukken dat onze eerste aankoop op 31 cent hondberoerd getimed is. Omdat we bovengenoemde koersdrukkende ontwikkelingen niet hebben voorzien, of beter gezegd niet kunnen hébben voorzien. Maar dat doet niets af aan het feit dat het entertainment bedrijf er nu beter voorstaat dan voor de herfinanciering, zodat verkopen uit paniek onverstandig is. Integendeel, de paniekverkopers van nu geven ons juist de kans op een voordelig niveau in te stappen.

    Voorwaarde is, behalve wellicht stalen zenuwen, het geduld en de tijd om de koersdraai naar boven af te wachten. Dat kan een kwestie van weken zijn, maar ook maanden. In die tijd kan uw bezit in IFG dood geld zijn, maar zodra het naar boven draait gaat het vaak hard en kunnen tientallen procenten rendement uw deel zijn. Een eerdere ervaring met het eveneens Franse St.Dupont geldt hierbij als referentie. Ook dit aandeel ging na afronding van een claimemissie eerst hard onderuit tot zelfs ruim onder emissieprijs. U weet hoe het is afgelopen…

    Zoals gesteld, bestaande aandeelhouders van voor de emissie zitten voor gemiddeld zeker 0,30 euro per aandeel in het bedrijf. Houders van de convertible hebben na conversie in aandelen gemiddeld zo’n 0,21 euro betaald. Enkel de bestuurders van IFG die hun opties hebben verzilverd kunnen nu hun winst pakken omdat ze slechts 0,15 euro per aandeel betaalden. Maar waarom zouden ze afstand doen nu het bedrijf waarin is gesneden en gesaneerd een goede toekomst te wachten staat?

    Wij zien hierin voor onze PennyPortefeuille een uitgelezen moment om de positie te dubbelen met 50.000 stuks tegen 0,21 euro, zodat onze gemiddelde aankoopkoers komt te staan op 0,26 euro. Tegen het risico dat het aandeel nog eens enkele centen kan verliezen staat de ons inziens grotere kans op het aanbreken van de dag dat het aandeel losgekomen van alle koersdruk met centen tegelijk omhoog vliegt.
