(NASDAQ:OPTV - News), a leading software and technology provider of advanced digital television solutions, will be demonstrating advanced support for Pull VOD as well as Over-the-Top (OTT) video as part of the company’s IBC 2009 showcase in Hall 1 Stand C81 of the RAI in Amsterdam, Sept. 11-15, 2009. Visitors to the OpenTV stand will be able to see how the solution enables network operators to offer on-demand content by leveraging their subscribers’ existing broadband connection, creating a platform for easy and cost-effective deployment of next generation services.

    Soms maken ze een deal(s) bekend rond de IBC beurs die vandaag zijn deuren opent. Men heeft al veel persberichten gelanceerd de laatste weken dat beleggers gaan denken ,dat het een bloeiend bedrijf is.
    Er zit geen enkele deal tussen maar wie weet heeft men er nog een of twee.

    Er was gisteren een grote omzet en daarbij ging de koers naar $1,35. Wat Stot zegt, het dollar-effect moet er wel van afgetrokken worden en dan stelt de huidige koers nog niet veel voor.
    De CFO heeft gisteren nog wat uitgesproken op de investors conferentie waarvan het meeste al bekend was.
    Belangrijk is natuurlijk de omzetrange $117-$123 miljoen die overeind blijft staan.
    Maar nog belangrijker is, hoeveel gaat OpenTV investeren en dat antwoord is voorbehouden aan de CEO, die dat gaat presenteren.
    Beleggers hebben dus nog geen volledige plaatje , om richting te kiezen bij OpenTV.
    Hoe kunnen investeerders een belang gaan nemen in OpenTV wanneer essentiele informatie niet gegeven wordt op een conferentie?
    Het is wel zo dat investeerders al 50 miljoen stukken in bezit hebben en dat is een hoog aantal.
    Meer dan in 2008.
    Particulieren hebben 10 miljoen stukken van de hand gedaan en die zijn opgevangen door instituten in een jaar tijd.
