    Mooi gelukt allemaal Ed met de aanbevelingen en de hoogste stand. Ik hoop dat als er weer een nieuwe aankondiging van aan- of verkoop van Kardan komt in de nabije toekomst dat je deze lijst up-to-date houdt en weer opnieuw publiceerd met b.v. een 2 of II, dan 3 of III, IV enz. erachter, zo kan iedereen Kardan en z'n activiteitenlijst steeds blijven volgen verder dit jaar. Was een hoop werk om uit te zoeken en zou jammer zijn als zo'n lijst later in het jaar niet meer zo relevant zou zijn.

    Dat is een goed idee Bill, ik zal het in de toekomst bijhouden! Ik ga natuurlijk niet bij elk persbericht een nieuw kopje openen ondat dat toch wel hier gepost wordt, maar ik zal het document wel steeds updaten op mijn pc en zo nu en dan eens hierop zetten!
    Ik vond het zelf gewoon eens interessant om de investeringen op een rijtje te zetten. Ik denk dat bijvoorbeeld die projectjes in China een boel mensen ontgaan zijn, maar wel interessant! Ze mogen wat mij betreft nog best wat meer die kant op gaan zitten in het vastgoed.

    AMSTERDAM (FD.nl/Betten) - Hier volgt een persbericht uitgegeven door Kardan:

    KARDAN TO DEVELOP FOURTH REAL ESTATE PROJECT IN CHINA

    Amsterdam, 7 February 2007 Kardan N.V. (Kardan) announces that its real estate subsidiary GTC RE Real Estate N.V (GTC RE) has signed, together with its local partner Lucky Hope, a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Shenyang Puhe New City Administration Authority for the development of a phased residential project totaling 920,000 sq.m. of built area on a land plot of 460,000 sq.m. (the Project).
    The site on which the project is to be developed is currently zoned for agricultural purposes. The MOU states that the Project is subject to a change of zoning into residential use, which the Chinese authorities intend to do in stages over the next two years.
    For the first stage, which will take place during the second quarter of 2007, the authorities will rezone 105,000 sq.m. of land on which GTC will develop approximately 210,000 sq.m. of built area.
    Each stage of the Project is subject to receipt of the necessary authority approvals. The consideration for the land is estimated at approximately $ 55 million. The total investment in the project is estimated at approximately $ 250 million. This will be GTC RE s fourth real estate project in China and the third in Shenyang. The total development pipeline for GTC China will amount to 2.35 million sq.m. representing an estimated total investment of approximately $ 650 million.
    GTC Real Estate N.V. (GTC RE), the real estate division of the Kardan Group, holds a 46.4% stake in GTC SA, one of the largest real estate developers in CEE. GTC RE is active in Europe through GTC SA and GTC investments B.V., and in China through GTC Real Estate China Ltd. GTC RE S shares are listed on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and are included in several of its major indices. Kardan currently holds (directly and indirectly) a 61.9% stake in GTC RE.

    12-03-07, 11:53, (Property Xpress) - Through its Romanian subsidiary PN Ehad Invest SRL, Aura Investments Ltd has acquired 80 pct of a plot at EUR 1.410 mln in Piatra Neamt to build on it a EUR 18.085 mln worth residential ensemble of 180 apartments, Globes Online reports. On the other hand, Aura and Kardan NV subsidiary Global Trade Centre Real Estate NV are jointly developing the Piatra Neamt mall, part of USD 400 mln worth Galleria mall chain of 20-30 units in the country.

    Bucharest –The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) might extend a loan of up to EUR 60 M to a company created by the Globe Trade Center (GTC) and Aura Investment estate developers, for the building of a chain of trade centres in Romania.

    The company will operate in the acquisition, development and management of trade centres in Romanian cities with more than 100,000 inhabitants, reads an announcement of the bank. The total cost of the project has not been disclosed by the shareholders in the company.

    GTC has indicated it would develop in partnership with Aura Investment trade centres in Piatra Neamt, Suceava and Buzau, each to be owned in equal shares by the two companies.

    GTC was informing at the end of 12006 that it had bought 33,000 sq m of land in Arad to erect a commercial centre with an area to let of 25,000 sq m, also to be developed in partnership with Aura Investment.

    The trade centres will be operated under the Galleria brand name, and the first unit will be opened in the first part of 2008. GTC announced at the end of November that it would invest EUR 450 M in a number of projects in Bucharest and other major cities in the country, in the following years.

    Some of the projects will address the residential segment in which the developer will invest EUR 240 to EUR 250 M to build over 3,000 apartments.

    The company also intends to build Galleria shopping centres with a total area of 80,000 sq m in major cities.

    In 2007, the company will invest EUR 40 M in the first three centres in Buzau, Suceava and Piatra Neamt.

    GTC will develop a Galleria Centre in Bucharest too that is now in the phase of obtaining construction authorisations. EUR 100 M will be invested in that project alone.

    GTC, controlled by the Israeli Kardan Group, is one of the most important estate developers in Central and Eastern Europe, carrying out projects in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia and Croatia, covering all the major segments of the market – office buildings, shopping centres and residential.

    Edison follows Galileo and Newton

    GTC has begun construction of Edison office building.In 1Q 2008 the developer will deliver 10,000 square meters of modern office space in an attractive Cracow venue.Newton rented out in full – first tenants to move in April 2007.

    The Warsaw Stock Exchange-listed Globe Trade Center has begun construction of the Edison modern office building. The complex will be opened in 1Q 2008.

    Edison will be the third building in the GTC office complex, following Galileo and Newton, which is being developed at the junction of Al. Armii Krajowej and ul. Przybyszewskiego streets in Cracow. This will be an 11-storey building with 10,000 square meters of A class office space and 400 square meters of shopping and services space on the ground floor.

    The GTC office complex is situated on the way leading directly from the Cracow centre, 5 minutes driving, to the Balice international airport, with convenient access by public transportation and a quick connection with the E40 international route, near the Novotel hotel.

    The architectural design has been prepared by Marek Dunikowski from DDJM, Cracow’s renowned architectural lab. In its form and technological solutions, the design draws from those applied in Galileo and Newton, which were also prepared by DDJM.

    Edison will be a regular spiky block in the shape of a cube, with the elevation combining ecru ceramics and transparent glass panes. The building will be surrounded by strips of low green plants.

    A typical level in the building will offer some 1,000 square meters of well-lit office space and it will accommodate one or more independent tenants. The building will comprise 4 lifts. Their internal distribution allows free arrangement of office space – from typical “office” space to “open” space. Edison will accommodate 1500 office staff.

    The building will be equipped in modern telecommunication systems, elevated ceilings, openable windows, air-conditioning, and professional guards. The building will also contain an underground car park for 125 vehicles. Tenants should be content to find comfort with 3-meter-high ceilings, counted from the floor to the elevated ceiling.

    “The success of Galileo and Newton confirms the fact that Cracow is in need of modern, high class office space. More and more international and Polish firms are investing and opening offices in Cracow. I am convinced that Edison offers the most attractive office space in Cracow now thanks to its excellent location, comfortable working conditions for tenants, and the technological solutions applied” – says Mariusz Kozlowski, member of the GTC Board.

    Warbud SA is general constructor of the Edison office building, whereas CB Richard Ellis and Knight Frank are responsible for space rent.

    The construction completion is due 1Q 2008, and the total investment cost is estimated at EUR 16 million.

    In April 2007 GTC will open the Newton office building, which has been rented out in full 3 months prior to investment completion. Among the renowned firms which have chosen Newton to be their Cracow residence are IBM, which has rented nearly a half of the whole space, 5,000 square meters, Hewitt, 2,000, Fortis Bank and Deloitte.

    Cracow is one of the key cities for Globe Trade Centre operations in Poland. Two years ago the company opened its first modern shopping and entertainment centre, Galeria Kazimierz. The complex is located on post-industrial areas, revitalized by GTC, of the former meat processing plant.

    GTC is planning new investments in Cracow. On their completion GTC’s real estate portfolio will grow to amount to 55,000 square meters of net space. In Spring 2007 the company is planning to begin construction of offices on a new level of Galeria Kazimierz, and the Kazimierz Office Centre to be located next to the Galeria building.

    Above the shopping and entertainment part of Galeria Kazimierz a new additional level will be constructed with 2,000 square meters of A class office space. These offices will expand GTC’s office offer in the historical homes of Galeria Kazimierz.

    The five-storey Kazimierz Office Centre, with architecture resembling the style of Galeria Kazimierz, is to be constructed at ul. Podgorska street in direct proximity of Galeria Kazimierz. Glass and steel will be dominant the construction. The office building will offer 17,000 square meters of top quality office space. Thanks to the proximity of Galeria, apart from the excellent modern offices, the tenants will access the rich shopping and services facility.
