   SNS SECURITIES over ASMI: STRONG BUY; "FANTASTIC RESULTS" ASM INTERNATIONAL(30.40): Rating: 1 (Strong buy), 1999: 0.25 2000E: 1.46 2001E: 2.26 2002E: 2.66 ASMI reported fantastic results, booking Q2 EUR 0.54 per share against EUR 0.28 in Q1 and against EUR 0.30 exstimated. Especially revenues were much higher than we expected as the company reported a 54% increase to EUR 255.4 mln compared to Q1. We had expected only EUR 178 mln. The company reported strong revenues both in front end and back end. The company remained quite positive on the rest of this year, with higher sales expected in Q3 and an optimistic view on Q4. It seems that ASMI is without much doubt going to make around EUR 2.00 per share this year. As a result, our fairly ambitious estimate now appears way too low and we will raise it after this afternoon's conference call.
