    Je hebt gelijk. Herkende de “oude” agenda en keek niet wat er onderaan is toegevoegd inmiddels.

    Het zou mooi zijn, als ze zich aan het tijdschema (gemeld onder punt twee) zouden kunnen houden: eind augustus. Helaas is dat afhankelijk van anderen.

    Netherlands, 29 August 2024: OCI Global (Euronext: OCI), a leading global producer and distributor of hydrogen products is pleased to announce the successful closing of the divestment of 100% of its indirect interest in its large-scale US greenfield nitrogen fertilizer facility Iowa Fertilizer Company LLC, in Wever, Iowa to Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, signed on December 18, 2023, following the required regulatory and shareholder approvals.

    The closing marks a significant milestone in OCI’s ongoing strategic value creation journey. The expected cumulative crystallization of approximately USD 9.5 billion gross cash proceeds from the recently announced sales of Fertiglobe, IFCO and OCI Clean Ammonia affords OCI significant flexibility to deliver on its capital allocation priorities, including deleveraging at a gross level as well as returning a meaningful quantum of capital to shareholders.

    IFCO was the first greenfield nitrogen fertilizer plant built in the United States in over 25 years, and the largest private construction project in Iowa’s history, adding more than 3,500 jobs during the construction period. Since commissioning in April 2017, the facility has revitalized a core industry in the United States reflecting OCI’s continued investment in the plant’s ongoing development, and in the surrounding region’s distribution and logistics infrastructure to support the Midwest’s agriculture industry. OCI is confident that under KAES’s stewardship, IFCO will be well positioned for its next phase of growth.

    Aan Koch.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) OCI heeft de verkoop van Iowa Fertilizer Company aan Koch AG & Energy Solutions afgerond. Dit maakte OCI donderdagavond bekend.

    Met de transactie is een bedrag van 3,6 miljard dollar gemoeid.

    De afronding noemde OCI "een belangrijke mijlpaal".

    OCI meldde de verkoop van IFCO medio december, daags nadat het de verkoop van het belang in Fertiglobe aan Adnoc voor eveneens 3,6 miljard dollar aankondigde.

    Samen met de recent gepresenteerde verkoop van OCI Clean Ammonia Holding en het project in het Amerikaanse Beaumont voor 2,35 miljard dollar aan Woodside, kan OCI bruto 9,5 miljard dollar tegemoet zien.

    En daar zullen aandeelhouders volgens OCI flink van gaan profiteren.

    Het aandeel OCI sloot donderdag 3,0 procent hoger op 28,14 euro.

    Goh, toch gelukt met de goedkeuring van de toezichthouders! Ondanks de weerstand die er was.
    Ik had het eerlijk gezegd niet verwacht. Goed nieuws voor OCI.
    Dat maakt alles een stuk overzichtelijker, aannemende dat Fertiglobe gewoon rond komt.
    Verkoop van Beaumond lijkt ook geen probleem.

    Ik had een deel verkocht (en deels ook weer goedkoper teruggekocht) omdat ik het niet vertrouwde.
    Maar ik had dus net zo goed kunnen blijven zitten...

    Wel jammer dat er, zo lijkt het, mensen eerder op de hoogte waren en hebben geprofiteerd van voorkennis.
