    Kleine steekproef bij AFM13, ORR in orde CR% had iets hoger gekund. Cohort 3 en 4 waarschijnlijk nog beter. Bijwerkingenprofiel lijkt ook oké. AFM28 is boven mijn verwachting. Jammer dat er niet gelijk een deal met een geïnteresseerde is aangekondigd. De bodem ven de kas komt wel in zicht.

    Na vandaag +30% te hebben gestaan voelt de dagsluiting met +5% inderdaad als rood. Hartstrick en de zijnen lijken nog steeds te geloven dat de beurswaardering uitsluitend wordt bepaald door de behaalde klinische resultaten.     Harstrick couldn’t give any details since they’re currently in talks of some kind.
    Me: Can’t just be a deal for NK cells since that won’t solve their funding issues. Given its potential - huge upfront $$$ with hefty royalties.

    Internally that’s always been their plan… to sell the rights to one of their three clinical assets to big pharma.

    If not AFM28 then AFM13 (personally I would prefer they cut a deal for the latter since more advanced = more $$)

    @affimed has so many more ICEs, literally given away to Roche and Roivant along with some they kept for themselves.
    Clearly their ICE Platform needs to be revalued here.

    Personally speaking 24 and 28 are my favorite two.
    Even at this very early stage it’s kinda easy to see that 28 will achieve responses never seen before in such a deadly disease, given what it’s targeting.
    13 will take another year before we know how durable responses will be.

    Because of FDA red tape, @affimed took 28 to Europe where EMA allowed for a speedier dose escalation.
    We now know the stunning results achieved in cohorts 5 & 6.
    Question: Could EMA give permission to add allogeneic NKs to the existing trial?
    Cost would be minimal .

    Successful POC should improve Affimed’s valuation exponentially

    Something clearly percolating @ $afmd. Stripped down ops to focus exclusively on 3 programs in clinic. Sold off R&D. Current EV ~ 55M, with less than 50M left in coffers . . .

    . . . not exactly the time, one might think, to be negotiating access to previously out-licensed assets.

    But, now, with data suggesting 3 active molecules, we also hear (hat tip to @jdubois1234), they've very recently reacquired rights to afm32 (FRa-targeting ICE) from Affivant, which $roiv shuttered in the downturn.

    The plot thickens . . .

    Yes, affivant held out longer than many of the other "vants." There was--and may still be--real promise there. Be interested to see what it "cost" them to get 32 back . . . But makes sense to reacquire, as adaptive crosstalk, macrophage-engagement & shelf-ready cell combo theses start to prove out

    Volgens dit overzicht bestaat Affivant nog. In 2023 is er nog gecollecteerd dmv serie A funding. Merkwaardig verhaal. Roche heeft tot nu toe zijn rechten ook niet terug gegeven??
