...It may be a little light on translational and early-stage programs, he reflects, and that’s where the company could be expected to focus with some new deals as they look to field new drugs. He’s not absolutely ruling out a Phase III rare disease deal if something comes along he can’t overlook, but it clearly isn’t likely.

Temeer omdat er nog maar 1 medicijn is goedgekeurd voor deze leeftijdsgroep.

PS: Natuurlijk is er nog veel meer te halen uit dit 221 pagina dikke verslag. Ik lees dan ook graag van iemand een samenvatting met hem/haar visie!

Hello everyone and glad you’re back for Thursday’s Ruconest Infusion. The rain is gone (Yippee), however the pollen made a declaration of war today. In order to defend myself I was slamming Benadryl every 4 hrs. Needless to say I was loopy and going in and out of consciousness which made conversations rather amusing. If my body was not so fussy I would like to use other allergy medication. Alas I’m stuck with the oldies but goodies to treat almost any ailment. Knowing my history of being extremely sensitive to medications, it was a little nerve wrecking to think about changing my HAE prophylactic medication. However with the shortage of my previous infusion therapy, I didn’t have much choice. After much deliberation with my HAE Specialist, and husband we decided to start with an allergy test for rabbits. Getting that negative result opened the door to Ruconest. Today I celebrate 13 months of being ICU and ER free. This is the longest I’ve ever gone not needing hospitalization for a life threatening swells. I’m so grateful for this incredible change, for it is an answer to many prayers. For the sake of myself and my family I hope it stays this way.

If you feel that your current HAE treatment plan is not working please talk to your HAE Specialist. There are other medications available, and there’s no need for you to suffer. Research all the information you can, and make an informed decision. For me it was Ruconest and making the change, was the best decision for me.
