    Logica wins application management contract with Airbus
    10 June 2009
    Blended delivery model delivers service from Germany, France and India

    Logica, a leading IT and business services provider today announced that it has won a three year outsourcing contract with Airbus, one of the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers. Logica will manage Airbus’ application management for document management, archiving, groupware and knowledge management. The contract encompasses maintenance, service, support and projects for the further development and optimization of the company's applications. Logica will also act in an advisory capacity for software harmonisation.

    Logica will deliver the service by leveraging its flexible blended delivery model and its expertise and experience in some of Airbus’ focal markets like Germany and France. Service delivery will be equally split between the local hubs of Hamburg and Toulouse to maintain customer intimacy and from Logica’s centre in Chennai for cost effective application development and management.

    Commenting on the win, Torsten Straß, CEO, Logica in Germany, said:

    “Our Blended Delivery Model allows us to provide customers with a seamless network of international expertise and experience that can be leveraged to optimise cost and risk. Our customers will benefit from local teams on site and from international teams that have in-depth technical expertise and experience delivering large scale outsourcing projects.     Logica gaat morgen zeker verder omhoog.
    Vandaag in de FTSE 250 te Londen is Logica 3,14% gestegen.
    We gaan weer naar de euro toe!

    Logica liep in Nederland al voor op de koers bij slot gisteren.
    Valt niets in te halen.
    Wat wel bijzonder is ,deze verhandeling.
    Het uitoefenen van optie rechten in Engeland.

    Ik ben benieuwd of logica morgen echt uitbreekt,ik zag vandaag dat bij de koers van 0,88 ineens honderduizenden aandelen op 0,87 werden aangeboden.Er heeft iemand belang bij een lagere koers dus zie ik hem nog niet boven de 0,90 komen.Volgende week optie experatie,dus de m.m. zal de koers wel drukken.
