    Ursula Von der Leyen gaat komende weken naar de Mercosur landen om het vrijhandelsakkoord te bekrachtigen is de veronderstelling.

    Dit gaat een boost geven aan de Mercosur landen en de EU en bijgevolg de vraag naar staal zal stijgen doordat er meer economische groei zal komen.

    Arcelormittal heeft veel productie in Brazilië en kan daar dus profiteren indien het vrijhandelsakkoord waarheid wordt.

    J.P. Morgan herhaalt advies voor Arcelor Mittal

    J.P. Morgan heeft de aandelen van Arcelor Mittal vrijdag opnieuw neutraal beoordeeld. De analisten van J.P. Morgan herhaalden het advies neutraal voor de aandelen van Arcelor Mittal.

    Ook het koersdoel van 23,00 EUR werd door de analisten herhaald. Dat betekent dat de analisten verwachten dat de aandelen van Arcelor Mittal met 5% kunnen dalen vanaf de huidige koers van 24,24 EUR. Daarmee is J.P. Morgan heel wat negatiever dan de gemiddelde analist, die de koers van Arcelor Mittal met 20% ziet stijgen tot 29,05 EUR.

    (ABM FN-Dow Jones) Op Wall Street zijn vrijdag twee van de acht AEX-genoteerde fondsen ten opzichte van het slot in Amsterdam hoger gesloten. Aegon was met een winst van 0,4 procent de sterkste stijger. Philips sloot vlak, terwijl ASML met een verlies van 1,0 procent de sterkste daler was.

    In Amsterdam ging ArcelorMittal aan kop met een winst van 2,7 procent. RELX bungelde onderaan met een verlies van 1,5 procent, terwijl sectorgenoot Wolters Kluwer 1,2 procent daalde.

    Futures Wall Street

    De Amerikaanse beurzen gaan maandag een licht lagere opening tegemoet. Futures op de S&P 500 index noteerden tot 0,1 procent in het rood.

    De toonaangevende S&P 500 index sloot vrijdag 0,3 procent hoger op 6.090,27 punten. De Dow Jones index eindigde 0,3 procent in het rood op 44.642,52 punten en technologiebeurs Nasdaq steeg 0,8 procent tot 19.859,77 punten.
