    KARDAN'S INFRASTRUCTURE SUBSIDIARY SIGNS AN MOU TO
    PURCHASE MAJORITY STAKE IN ISRAELI COMPANY

    Amsterdam, 25 April, 2007 Kardan N.V. (Kardan) announces that its infrastructure
    subsidiary, Tahal Consulting Engineers Ltd. (TCE), signed a Memorandum of
    Understanding (MOU) with City Partners Limited Partnership (Seller) to purchase a
    60% stake in Milgam. The purchase price will reflect a value of USD 19 million for
    Milgam. TCE already holds a 3.5% interest in Milgam.

    Milgam provides different services to municipalities in Israel including collection of
    municipal taxes and water bills. TCE is purchasing Milgam in order to enter the water
    billing and collection field. Milgam can provide a strong platform because to its good
    relationships with Israeli municipalities.

    The MOU includes TCE s commitment to purchase additional shares of Milgam from
    other shareholders, subject to their willingness to sell their shares.
    The final agreement and the closing of the transaction are subject to certain conditions
    precedent, internal approval of both parties and the completion of due diligence.

    TCE is a 100% subsidiary of Tahal Group B.V., which is the holding company of the
    infrastructure activities of Kardan. Tahal Group B.V operates internationally in the fields
    of planning, design, construction and project management services as well as in turnkey
    and build, operate and transfer projects. Approximately 90% of the activities of Tahal
    are directly related to water and sewage systems.

    haha niet te geloven, maar van mij mag ie er komen. ik heb namelijk een partijtje op 13,74 weten te kopen begin van de week. om te zien hoe hoog we konden gaan.
    veel plezier morgen.

    PS: buiten is het ook lekker 's avonds en overdag. Net of het weer in Hollanda van de koers van Kardan afhangt, of andersom. ;-)

    Eerlijkheid gebiedt mij te melden dat ik ben uitgestapt.
    Mijn eerste aankopen waren rond de 3 euro. Daarna heb ik nog een flink aantal keer bijgekocht, waarvan de laatste op 11,02 euro. Ik stel mijn winst nu maar even veilig (mijn nachtrust begon er nog net niet onder te leiden).

    Qua vooruitzichten is Kardan nog steeds fantastisch; ik blijf het op voet volgen.

    Onno, goed gedaan hoor. des te meer je leest des te meer je bang wordt gemaakt over oorlogen en beurscrashes nou voorlopig gaat ie zoals ie gaat.
    maar winst pakken is nooit verkeerd. nu is het aan de anderen om de koers te maken. heerlijk rustig lijkt me dat alles verkopen........... maar we blijven nog ff zitten.! Dan slaap ik maar wat minder. ;-)

    Update: 26-4-2007

    Kardan heeft een Positief advies (rend: 80.6%) sinds 2 augustus 2006. Het aandeel is woensdag gestegen met 1.79% tot EUR 13.62. Op 0.9 procent na wordt de hoogste koers ooit uit april 2007 benaderd.
    De doorbraak van de top uit eind februari bevestigt het huidige positieve beeld. Het meest waarschijnlijke scenario voor Kardan is een verdere ontplooing van de stijgende trend.
    Doorbraken van steun- of weerstandniveaus werden woensdag niet gesignaleerd. Steun is gevormd op EUR 11.70, weerstand is momenteel niet van toepassing.

    The TASE will be effected this week by tomorrow's Winograd committee report and the continued fall in the shekel-dollar rate.

    The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) will open the week with two critical pending events, one political, the other economic, which will determine the direction the market will take. The political temperature in Israel will soar tomorrow, with the publication of the Winograd committee interim report. The report will cover the conduct of the government and IDF command in the days preceding the Second Lebanon War and the initial days of the war itself. The report will likely be sharply and bluntly worded, albeit without drawing personal recommendations.
    The public will probably react vehemently to the 300-page report. The country’s political leadership is already under pressure as the State Comptroller delivers suspicions of misconduct by Prime Minister Ehud Olmert to the Attorney General, and the Ministry of Finance is without a minister. And this is only the tip of the iceberg regarding investigations against the political leadership. Moreover, Governor of the Bank of Israel Prof. Stanley Fischer has been mentioned as a possible new president of the World Bank in the event that Paul Wolfowitz resigns.

    The economic factor is the ongoing plunge in the shekel-dollar exchange rate, which is beginning to affect public companies. IDB Holding Corp. Ltd. (TASE:IDBH) subsidiary Discount Investment Corporation (TASE: DISI) was the first large company to publish a profit warning because of this factor.
