    The constant investing effort of the shareholders of Iberamigo has taken to the company to a position of leadership in its market being the main supplier of accessories for mascots and the leader in the channel specialized in food for dogs. The information systems of the company were sustained in a platform with a centralized ERP with which to manage its areas of finances, purchases and stock. But the lack of support on the part of the manufacturer and the limitations in their functionality had taken to Iberamigo to have to maintain manifold applications satellite, with their corresponding integrations and to duplicate the information in different data bases with the consequent lack of reliability in their data for the management of the business.

    With the fort and sharp growth in the last years and within the commitment of the company to invest constantly after his mission, in April of 2002 it was decided to look for a new system ERP that supported to its processes of management and their strategy of expansion. For a company in constant growth and with ambitious plans of future, counting on a control tool and analysis of the business became in a clear necessity. The responsible equipment to select the new tool of management for the company knew clearly the main requirements that it had to fulfill: To be standard, easy to use, fast to start up, that unified all the sources of data and that gave to cover to the requirements of business and the growth of Iberamigo.

The business is critical of knowing the evolution these promotions, the proportion of units given based on the sales, the number of new caught clients and its profile.     Microsoft Dynamics like Integral Solution.

    Iberamigo contacted more with Watermark Qurius in search of the solution adapted to take care of those necessities. Microsoft Dynamics AX was recommended as the bases for the renovation of the information systems that, framed within the strategic plan of Iberamigo, would provide technology of forward edge, ample cover of the requirements, integration of all the areas of business and guarantee of continuity in the applications. Using the own utility of Microsoft Analysis Server a series of buckets has been defined using as DataWareHouse the consultations created with Microsoft Query Analizer. Buckets OLAP (On-Line Analytic Processing) are an outpost utility client-servant who provides a representation of the data efficient and powerful.

    By means of the Interactive Analytical Processing it allows interactively to examine and to manipulate great amounts of data with an access to the fast and flexible information. Thus, the buckets allow the extraction of knowledge, to discover patterns, to establish tendencies and to anticipate conditions of exception. Of buckets OLAP generated for Iberamigo, it is possible to emphasize three:

    • The analysis of sales. Given the business of Iberamigo, one becomes a main tool for the management and control of sales at several levels.
    • The analysis of the marketing budget allows to control the evolution of the budget of the department and by extension of the one of all the company. The possible states consider in which the origin can be found a game and be differentiated from the different games that compose the budget.
    • The analysis of promotions, that suppose one of the main routes of sale and for that reason it is fundamental to be able to see as they evolve, whichever units are **aed-refl mng, what discounts are being made and to what clients, to have accountants of welcomed clients or to know the distribution between the organizational structure the commercial area.

    Executive Viewer allows the visualization of the data to analyze and its export to other applications like Excel, with an ample fan of possibilities and great flexibility. The access Web in real time to data bases OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) for advanced analyses and reporting, eliminates the barriers that obstructed the decision making, offering truely dynamic multidimensional analyses with an access to the data very intuitive.
